目的论指导下的英语新闻标题及导语汉译——以政治新闻为例

摘　　要：汉斯·弗米尔提出的目的论强调译文应该根据译者预期目的或功能,选择恰当的翻译方法。因此,在对不同媒体的英语新闻标题及导语进行翻译时,需要以译者翻译目的为基础,分析英语新闻内容原意与立场,并考虑从语言表达特色、传递的信息内容及读者接受性等角度,以向中文读者传递客观新闻事件的目的作为英汉翻译的出发点,运用直译、删减或增加、调整、改译等翻译技巧,使英语新闻标题及导语的汉译通顺流利,满足汉语交际习惯,同时又保证其客观性,使译文具有可读性。Skopos theory proposed by Hans Vermeer emphasizes that appropriate translation methods should be chosen according to the expected purpose or function of translation.In the translation of English news headlines and leads from CGTN,CNN NEWS and BBC NEWS,the translation purpose should be the base,then the analysis should be done to figure out the meaning of its content,language feature,and the acceptability of the target reader therewith.When it comes to the translation practice,conveying the objective message of the events should be seen as the starting point,by using the corresponding translation strategies such as literal translation,deletion or addition,adjustment,modification,etc,the Chinese translation of English news headlines should meet the Chinese communicative habits and be fluently objective and readable to the Chinese reader.
