英汉委婉语的文化差异思考

摘　　要：委婉语是一种特殊的语言修辞方法,广泛应用于中西方英汉两种语言中,从而使人们之间的交际交流更加顺畅,更加方便。英汉委婉语的使用在很多领域都有相同点,但是由于英汉两地的自然环境、历史背景、文化背景和社会环境的不同,英汉委婉语的使用也存在着很大的不同,由此也能看出英汉两地的文化差异。本文从英汉两种语言的异同入手,分析英语与汉语产生异同的原因。Euphemism is a special method of language rhetoric,which is widely used in Chinese and English,so that people’s communication more smooth and convenient.The use of English-Chinese euphemism has the same points in many fields.However,due to the different natural environment,historical background,cultural background and social environment,the use of English-Chinese euphemism is also very different,which can also be seen the cultural differences between English and Chinese.Starting from the similarities and differences between English and Chinese,this paper analyzes the reasons that the similarities and differences between English and Chinese.
