Research on Online Games Consumption and Motivation of Female College Students

摘  要:当前越来越多的女大学生群体加入网络游戏的大军中,在网络游戏消费中所占比重日益增加。本研究采用问卷与访谈相结合的方式,对女大学生网络游戏消费状况和动机进行调查。分析发现,女大学生网络游戏的时间和消费投入较大,其动机依次为逃避动机、娱乐动机、成就动机、情感补偿动机和社交动机。女大学生的消费动机越明显,网络时间消费就越多;娱乐动机越强烈,金钱投入也越多。针对女大学生的非理性网游行为,从女大学生自身层面、高校层面和社会层面分别提出了建议。Nowadays,more and more female college students join in the army of online games,and the proportion of online games consumption is increasingly prominent.This research,adopting the method of questionnaire and interview,investigates and analyzes the consumption status and motivation of female college students’online games.It is found that female college students put much time and money on online games with various motivations,which include escaping,entertainment,sense of achievement,emotional compensation and social interaction.With stronger motivation of consumption,female college students would spend more time on games.Meanwhile,with stronger motivation for entertainment,female college students would spend more money on games.In this regard,this study proposes suggestions for getting rid of irrational online games among female college students in terms of the aspects of individuals,university and society.
