疫情背景下的主题探究式英语演讲教学模式

摘　　要：新冠疫情驱动大学生对于生命问题的重新关注和认真思考。英语演讲教学应将外语课程设计与疫情社会语境连接起来,把疫情转化为一种教书育人的驱动资源,利用外语专业课程的人文性与工具性的去引导学生观察生命、言说生命、珍爱生命,让学生在英语演讲的言说过程中体会自我生命价值、善待天下生命。研究以《英语视听说》课程英语演讲教学模式为研究对象,以"产出导向"理论为基础提出并实践了"探究、聚焦、交流、思考(EFCT)"四位一体英语演讲教学模式。研究发现:EFCT模式有效驱动了学生英语演讲语用能力、思辨能力、共情能力提升。The COVID-19 pandemic stimulates university students to be more concerned about human life.English Public Speaking is a course of humanity and instrumentality. Then,how can teachers be able to better design the teaching to connect their teaching of this course with the pandemic social context? How can teachers turn the pandemic into a drive to encourage students to learn and reflect more about life itself,and cherish the value of human life and be kind to other life in the world as well. This research has made a case study of the teaching mode of English Public Speaking course,and proposes the Explore,Focus,Communicate and Think( EFCT) teaching mode. This mode is conducted under the guidance of Production-Oriented Approach theory.It is found that EFCT model effectively promotes students gain their pragmatic,critical thinking and empathy competence in the process of researching,communicating and sharing.
