摘　　要：《天工开物》被誉为中国古代百科全书式的科技典籍,对当时的世界科技发展作出了重要贡献。本文首先研究该部典籍所蕴涵的"天人合一"等生态文明思想,并阐释其对我国推进生态文明建设的当代价值;最后以《天工开物》翻译为例,提出了对外传播中华优秀传统文化的多模态途径,以便讲好"中国故事",增强中国文化自信。Tian Gong Kai Wu,deemed as an encyclopedic sci-tech classics in traditional China,contributed tremendously to the global scientific progress at that time.This paper attempts to firstly study the ecological development thought such as“harmony between man and nature”,and then reveals the implications of such a concept to China’s promotion of ecological development campaign today.Finally the authors of this paper propose some multimodal means of effectively globalizing traditional Chinese culture with the translation of Tian Gong Kai Wu as a case study,for the purpose of“Telling China Story”,and thus building China’s cultural confidence.
