摘 要:民俗文化是一个民族、一个国家精神文明的璀璨明珠,民俗文化的翻译不仅仅是语言层面的文本传递,更是异域文化的传播与交流。在协调理论视角下,民俗文化翻译者应努力寻找解决源语文化与译语文化之间冲突的途径,尽量协调源语文化与译语文化的异同,最大限度实现源语文化在译语中的传递。文章以佛山民俗文化为例,探讨在协调翻译理论观照下,译者在民俗文化翻译过程中如何协调文本各方关系,在归化与异化之间寻求平衡点,跨越文化冲突,既保证文本的可读性,又实现源语文化最大化的传递。Folk culture is the bright pearl of a nation's spiritual civilization,whose translation is not only the transmission of texts at the language level,but also the transmission and communication of exotic cultures.From the perspective of coordination theory,the translator should manage to seek ways to solve the conflict between the source culture and the target culture in the process of folk culture translation,attempting to coordinate the similarities and differences between the two,and maximizing the transmission of the source culture in the target language.On basis of analyzing folk culture in Foshan,this paper probes into the translation strategies of folk culture under the guidance of coordination translation theory,with the purpose of finding a balance between domestication and foreignization,and realizing a harmonious status that the the source language culture is both fully-transmitted and reader-friendly by means of coordinating different factors of translation to surmount the cultural conflicts.
