摘　　要：在教育部大力倡导建设“一流高校”“一流学科”和“一流专业”的大背景下,理工类高校的英语专业如何利用自身优势实现可持续发展的问题对专业教育者们来说至关重要。从英语专业人才培养模式、课程设置、课程建设、师资队伍、基层教学组织建设方面进行阐述分析并提出建议,以期为理工类高校的新文科建设提供参考。According to the policy of Ministry of Education to develop world-class universities,top disciplines and first-rate undergraduate majors,it is of great significance for English major in universities of science and technology to actualize sustainable development by means of their own advantages.This paper elaborates on the mode of talent cultivation,curriculum design,curriculum construction,faculty development,and the construction of fundamental teaching organization,hoping to provide reference for the construction of innovative liberal arts in universities of science and technology.
