摘 要:在专门用途英语(ESP)教学从正式提出到如今的20年间,ESP经历了不断的理论探索和实践教学。随着国家提出大学生掌握专业领域内的跨文化交往能力和竞争能力,ESP教学进入到迅猛的实践发展阶段。ESP教师作为培养合格人才的基础和根本,教师能力和教师发展日益受到重视。本文基于对《高等学校外语类专业本科教学质量国家标准》(以下简称《国标》)的深入学习和研究,探究了《国标》下外语类专业本科人才培养目标及要求,《国标》背景下英语专业教师能力构成及ESP教师能力发展策略。During the 20 years since the teaching of English for Specific Purposes(ESP)was formally proposed,ESP has experienced continuous theoretical exploration and practical teaching.With the national emphasis on college students'ability of cross-cultural communication and competitiveness in their professional field,ESP teaching has entered a stage of rapid practical development.As ESP teachers are the foundation of cultivating qualified talents,teachers'competence and teachers'development are drawing increasing attention.Based on the in-depth study and research of the“National Standards for the Quality of Undergraduate Teaching for Foreign Languages Majors in Colleges and Universities”(hereinafter referred to as“National Standards”),this article explores the training objectives and requirements of foreign language majors as well as the competence of professional teachers and development strategies of ESP teachers under the background of the“National Standards”.
