摘　　要：在认知语言学平台上对语义映射的概念和实质进行深入研究,发现语义映射和认知存在着深层关系。人类将认知过程转化为内容表述,通过隐喻和推理等语义映射机制,将词语有序组合后完成语法表达。汉语语法体现了经验性和主观性原则,英语语法则体现了逻辑性和客观性原则。从语义映射层面开展英汉语序问题研究,对英汉语法体系的完善和二语习得研究、翻译及对外语言教学均有着重要意义。Examining the deep relations between semantic mapping and cognition by in-depth researches on the concept and essence of semantic mapping from the perspective of cognitive linguistics is of great importance.Humankind has transformed cognitive process into content presentation and by mapping conveyed ideas by word order through etaphor and inference.Chi-nes egrammar embodies empirical and subjective principles,while English grammar logical and mobjective principles.The study onEnglis h and Chinese word order in terms of semantic mapping attaches abundant significance to grammatical system,second languageacquisition,translation and foreign language teaching.
