摘 要:英语母语者通过改变阻塞音前元音的时长,来区别清阻塞音和浊阻塞音。通过测量不同英语学习程度的中国EFL学习者阻塞音前元音的发音时长,结果表明,中国EFL学习者与英语母语者都是通过增加浊阻塞音前元音时长和减少清阻塞音前元音时长来区别英语清阻塞音和浊阻塞音,中国EFL学习者对不同阻塞音前元音时长的把握随着英语学习程度和专业性的提高而有所改善。English native speakers distinguish between voiceless and voiced obstruents by changing the vowel length before them.This paper measured the length of vowels before obstruents in Chinese EFL learners with different levels of English learning.The results show that both Chinese EFL learners and native English speakers distinguish English voiceless and voiced obstruents by increasing the duration of vowels before voiced obstruents and reducing the duration of that before voiceless obstruents.Chinese EFL learners?mastery of the duration of vowels before different obstruents improves with the improvement of English learning level and professionalism.
