大学英语教材词频等级研究--基于CCL词表的《新视野》词汇分析

摘　　要：选择适用于分级的大学英语教材是各高等院校大学英语教改的重要课题。本文以语料库软件为工具,使用"共核词表"(CCL)和《大学英语四、六级考试大纲(2016)》附带词表,分析两个词表对第三版《新视野大学英语读写教程》各分册课文的覆盖率,提取超出词表词汇进行定性分析,研究该系列教材各分册词汇的词频等级分布变化趋势和超出词表词汇的构成。研究发现,本系列教材的词频等级逐册提升,前后两册间词频等级存在较大阶差,超出词表词汇的构成具有一定的共性。Based on corpus tools,the Common Core List and the CET-4/6 wordlist,we have analyzed the frequency ranks of vocabulary in the 2015 third edition of New Horizon College English series,drawing a curve of the frequency ratings between the 4 levels of that series.We have also carried out a qualitative analysis of the off-list words.Our findings suggest that a sharp rising of the frequency curve exists between level 1-2 books and the later ones.We have also found a common pattern in the off-list words.It is hoped that these data and findings could be found helpful to teachers and researches selecting textbooks or doing research.
