广州方言植物命名特征探微  

On the Characteristics of Plant Nomenclature in Guangzhou Dialect

摘　　要：植物名是语言中的专名系统,其中蕴含了丰富的语言规律和文化现象。通过对广州方言植物命名取象的研究,发现广州方言植物命名呈现出具象性、隐喻性、单一性和文化性四种特征,这体现了广府地域的人们对植物这一客观事物的认知特点,同时也揭示了人类认知世界和命名万物的普遍方式。Plant names are a system of proper names in language containing abundant linguistic rules and cultural phenomena.After studying plant-naming image-forming in Guangzhou dialect,the research finds there are four nomenclature characteristics:concreteness,metaphor,unity and culture in Guangzhou dialect plant-naming.It not only reveals Guangzhou locals’cognition characteristics of plant as objective things,but also shows the universal way of human cognizing the world and naming everything on earth.
