摘  要:尽管农村教育受到越来越多的重视,然而作为农村教育重要一环的农村英语教育,却依然存在轻口语,重书面现象,农村学生的口语能力明显弱于听写读等其他技能。笔者分析造成这个问题的主要原因,并提出尽早开设口语课,为学生营造良好的学习氛围,提升教师的专业技能等几项措施来提升教学效果,改进薄弱环节。Although rural education is giving more and more attention,the rural English education,one important part of rural education,does not give adequate attention to oral English,which results in the fact that rural students has much weaker ability in oral compared with writing and reading abilities.The writer analyzes the reasons contributing to this phenomenon and puts forward some measures to improve the teaching efficiency of rural English,which includes,setting up oral classes in early stage,creating strong learning atmosphere for students and improving teachers’professional skills.
