摘　　要：以第三学期制为背景,分析了GIS专业学科特点,结合华中师范大学地理信息科学专业实际,全面介绍了GIS专业第三学期的培养目标、培养内容、教学过程以及已取得的效果,提出了将理论与实践、大学生科研立项、学科竞赛、GIS不同类型课程进行融合的第三学期培养模式,为高校培养适应行业需求的GIS专业人才提供参考。Based on the setup of the third semester system and the specialty of Geography in CCNU,this paper analyzes the characteristics of GIS major,and introduces the training objectives,training contents,implementation and the results of the third semester.It also puts forward the cooperative teaching model of combining relative courses of GIS,theory and practice,scientific research projects oriented to college students and discipline competition.This paper provides a reference for universities to cultivate GIS professionals to meet the needs of the industry.
