摘 要:针对电感电容压控振荡器(LC-VCO)中交叉耦合管非线性恶化相位噪声的问题,提出了基于交叉耦合管线性化技术的低相位噪声LC-VCO.该LC-VCO在经典差分LC-VCO拓扑结构基础上增加了自启动开关系统,并引入了基于负反馈的交叉耦合管线性化技术.自启动开关系统能保证该LC-VCO启动速度与经典差分LC-VCO相同.基于负反馈的交叉耦合管线性化技术降低了Groszkowski效应引起的区域相位噪声,增大了振荡器输出幅度,降低了区域相位噪声.工艺仿真结果表明:本文LC-VCO振荡频率为2 GHz,在10 kHz和1 MHz频率偏移处的相位噪声为-75.9 dBc/Hz和-121.5 dBc/Hz,比经典差分LC-VCO分别降低了6.0 dB和1.6 dB.To solve the problem that the nonlinearity of cross-coupled transistor deteriorates the phase noise in inductance capacitor voltage-controlled oscillator(LC-VCO),a low phase noise LC-VCO based on cross-coupled transistor linearization technology was proposed.Based on classic differential LC-VCO topology,a self-starting switch system was introduced into the LC-VCO,and a cross-coupled transistor linearization technology based on negative feedback was also introduced into the LC-VCO.The self-starting switch system ensured that the starting speed of the LC-VCO was the same as the classic differential LC-VCO.The cross-coupled transistor linearization technology based on negative feedback improved the phase noise performance in the region caused by the Grozkowski effect,increased the output amplitude of the oscillator,and improved phase noise performance in the region.Process simulation results show that the frequency of the proposed LC-VCO is 2 GHz,and the phase noise is-75.9 dBc/Hz and-121.5 dBc/Hz at the 10 kHz and 1 MHz offset frequency,which is 6.0 dB and 1.6 dB lower than that of the classic differential LC-VCO.
