叙事绘本翻译中图文逻辑语义关系的处理

摘　　要：绘本兼有图、文两个基本属性,具有多模态的特征。从多模态话语分析视角,依据Martinec和Salway建立的图文关系分析模式,对英文叙事绘本中图文逻辑语义关系进行分析,指出绘本中图像和文字存在详述、延展、增强三种逻辑语义关系。翻译绘本时,译者应关注图文之间的逻辑语义关系,不能将文字和图像割裂开进行翻译。Picture books have two basic attributes:images and texts,so they own multimodal features.From the perspective of multimodality,based on the model for images-texts relations proposed by Martinec&Salway,the paper analyzes the logical semantic relations between images and texts in narratives pictures books in English and point out that there exist three logical semantic relations between images and texts:elaboration,extension and enhancement.Therefore,translating picture books,translators need focus on the logical semantic relations between images and texts and shouldn’t separate images from texts.
