《红楼梦》江淮方言的异化翻译——以霍克思译本为例

摘　　要：《红楼梦》中的江淮方言,体现一定地域文化特色。依据自建"《红楼梦》江淮方言汉英平行语料库",研究显示霍译本在处理江淮方言时采用了较为明显的异化翻译策略,译文通过有意选用低频词,较为过时的词汇,以及带有自创性的表述,彰显源语方言异质文化色彩。Jianghuai Dialects in The Story of The Stone boast their own features,both geographical and cultural.Based on the self-made Chinese-English Parallel Corpus of Jianghuai Dialects in The Story of The Stone,our research shows that foreignization has been obviously adopted in the Hawkes'version to manifest the otherness in the original text.Specifically,some low frequency words,comparatively outdated vocabulary,and self-created expressions have been deliberately used to achieve the goal.
