摘 要:桉木人工林蓄积量大,其木材纹理漂亮、密度适中,具有实木产品用材的开发潜力。但桉木干燥过程中的皱缩和开裂严重影响其深加工和利用,掌握桉木干缩特性是制定干燥工艺和控制干燥过程的关键。测量了1 mm、2 mm、3 mm厚尾巨桉(Eucalyptus urophylla×E.grandis)木材在低温冷藏过程中的含水率及干缩量,研究其干缩特性。结果表明:桉木在低温冷藏条件下干燥缓慢,厚度越大干燥越慢。干燥至FSP时,1 mm、2 mm、3 mm厚试件分别需要48 h、115 h、355 h;FSP以下时木材干燥非常缓慢;FSP以上时,所有厚度木材的收缩率很小,均低于1.6%,因此低温冷藏过程中木材皱缩很小;试件厚度及干燥方式对木材收缩率有影响,1 mm低温冷藏干燥试件的全干收缩率比20 mm厚103℃烘干试件的全干收缩率减少22%。Plantation Eucalyptus with a large volume,beautiful wood texture,moderate density,has the development potential as material for solid wood products.However,the shrinkage and collapse of eucalyptus wood during drying have seriously affected its further processing and utilization.Understanding the drying shrinkage characteristics of eucalyptus is the key to developing the drying schedules and controlling the drying process.In this study to investigate the drying shrinkage characteristics,the moisture content(MC)and shrinkage of 1,2 and 3mm thickness Eucalyptus urophylla×giganis wood were measured during the low temperature cold storage process.The results showed that eucalyptus wood dried slowly at low temperature and the thicker the wood,the more slowly it was dried.Specimens of 1,2 and 3mm thickness took 48,115 and 355h respectively as their MC decreased to fiber saturation point(FSP).Drying became very slow below FSP;Above FSP,the shrinkage rate of the wood of all thickness was very small,lower than 1.6%,thus the collapse of wood during low temperature cold storage process was very small.The thickness and drying method affected the shrinkage rate of wood,and the shrinkage rate of 1mm-think specimens totally dried at low-temperature cold storage was 22%less than that of 20mm-thick specimens dried at 103℃.
