湘西苗族地区农村三语教育态度调查研究

摘  要:文章通过问卷调查和访谈等方式,对湘西苗族地区农村教师、学生和学生家长的三语教育态度进行调查。调查结果显示:一是该地区农村教师对汉语和英语的认同度较高,虽然认为苗语也重要,但普遍认为学校没有必要开设苗语课;二是苗族地区农村学生对苗语、汉语和英语的认同度较高,但英语和汉语学习成效不显著;三是苗族地区学生家长对苗语、汉语和英语的认同度较高,但对苗语在学校教育中的功能持否定态度。针对当今苗族地区农村的三语教育态度,我们认为应优化苗族语言文化生态环境和建立长效的三语师资培养机制两方面来提升湘西苗族地区农村的三语教育。This paper investigates the trilingual education attitude in the rural area of Xiangxi Miao Ethnic Regions via questionnaires and interviews.It is found that:(1)Chinese and English enjoy high status among the teachers in the rural area.Although Miao language has been identified as important,the teachers generally think that it is unnecessary for the schools to open courses of Miao language.(2)Miao language,Chinese and English are regarded as important for Miao students,but they generally have poor learning effects on Chinese and English.(3)Miao language,Chinese and English have been identified with high status as well among the parents,but they have negative attitudes toward the function of Miao language in schooling.From the trilingual education attitudes investigated above,we propose that at least two measures should be adopted to improve the elementary education in the area,that is,optimizing the ecological environment of Miao language and culture,and building a long-term mechanism for trilingual teacher training.
