摘　　要：知识生产是学者的根本任务。民族学研究的根本任务之一是围绕广义的“民族”而进行创新性的知识生产。民族学倡导的知识生产应是一种基于经验研究的严谨社会科学研究,其生产的知识包含四种类型并分别对应到学科建设的不同领域。民族学学科建设是围绕创新性知识生产而开展的全方位、全覆盖综合工程,应把人才培养、师资队伍建设、科学研究、社会服务全部纳入学科建设之中。Knowledge production is the fundamental task of scholars.One of the fundamental tasks of ethnological research is to produce innovative knowledge around"nations"in a broad sense.The knowledge production advocated by ethnology should be a rigorous social science research based on empirical research.The knowledge produced includes four types and corresponds to different fields of discipline construction.The construction of the discipline of ethnology is an all-round,full-covering comprehensive project centered on innovative knowledge production.Talent training,teacher team construction,scientific research,and social services should all be incorporated into the discipline construction.
