摘 要:首先对元认知理论、元认知策略以及元认知的构成要素进行简单概述,通过对元认知策略与大学英语阅读教学关系及其应用意义的分析和探讨,明确元认知策略对大学生英语阅读学习和阅读能力提升的重要性。进而在此基础上,分别从深化大学生对元认知策略的理解、重视大学生对元认知策略的体验、加强大学生对元认知策略的运用等维度,提出利用元认知策略提高大学生英语阅读能力的有效路径,旨在养成大学生良好的阅读习惯,激发他们的英语阅读兴趣和积极性,从而全面提高广大学生的英语综合素养与能力。This paper first gives a brief overview of metacognitive theory,metacognitive strategies and the components of metacognition.Through the analysis and discussion of the relationship between metacognitive strategies and college English reading teaching and its application significance,the importance of metacognitive strategies in improving college students’English reading learning and reading ability is clarified.Based on this,from the perspectives of deepening college students’understanding of metacognitive strategies,attaching importance to college students’experience of metacognitive strategies,and strengthening the use of metacognitive strategies by college students,this paper proposes the effective path to improve college students’English reading ability by using metacognitive strategies,aiming to cultivate college students’good reading habits and stimulate their interest and enthusiasm in English reading,so as to comprehensively improve the comprehensive English literacy and ability of students.
