利用职业英语技能大赛促进高职英语教学

摘  要:国家中长期教育改革和发展规划中,对职业院校的英语教学提出了明确的指导意见,即注重培养学生的语言应用能力。此外,还提出了以赛促教的指导方针。为此,从学校到市、省、国家级的职业英语技能大赛应运而生。从2011年开始举行职业英语技能大赛以来,已经积累了许多的大赛经验。如何将职业英语技能大赛的经验运用到高职院校的日常英语教学中,使其发挥正向的作用,是本文探讨的重点。作者在分析教育相关重要理论及指导意见的基础之上,总结了多年以来在组织、培训、参加职业英语技能大赛工作中发现的日常教学中存在的问题,提出应从人才培养方案的制定、课程安排、课型改革、师资配备、团队建设、设施设备等方面,进行全面的提升,从而真正实现以赛促教。According to the National mid&long-term reform and development of education,the aim of vocational college English teaching is focusing on the education of students’ability of the application of English language.Meanwhile,the concept of improving teaching through competition was provoked.Since 2011,school level,city level,province level and national level Vocational English competitions have been held and many experiences have been accumulated.The challenge is how to apply the treasurable experiences of English competition for the improvement of English language teaching in the ordinary work.The author analyzed the theories and also the important instructions in national education programs,accompanied with personal experiences in organizing,training,and attending the English competition,raises up that the improvement in English teaching syllabus,curriculum,teaching types,the teaching team,the training team and teaching facilities must be the key points of the accomplishment of the aim of improving teaching through competition.
