摘　　要：颠沛流离的少年时期、丰富多彩的青年时期,以及饱含温情的父母嘱托,使得索尔·贝娄始终怀有难以抛舍的犹太情结。贝娄通过塑造自己小说中主人公的各种形象和展示主人公的各种思想,来不断追溯自己的犹太家庭背景和犹太社会根源。无论是在作品里,还是在日常生活中,贝娄总是不厌其烦地诉说着犹太文化的传承对于自己的文学创作和人生目标的重大影响。他们的父辈所付出的艰辛劳动可以被历史封存,但他们美国犹太裔的新一代--贝娄这一代--却正引领着无数犹太人不断发现属于他们的新世界。It is the displaced boyhood,the colorful youth and the affectionate parents entrust that make Saul Bellow keep a strong Jewish complex.By creating various characters and presenting their various ideas,Saul Bellow has constantly traced his Jewish background and Jewish social origin.Whether it is in his works,or in his daily life,Bellow is always taking the trouble to relate the traditional Jewish culture effects on his literature creations and his life expectations.Their parents hard work could be sealed up in history,but American new Jewish generation,especially the Bellow’s generation,are leading countless Jews to endlessly discover the new world that they belong to.
