摘　　要：作为当前大学治理的重要政策工具,评估日益成为影响大学发展的"指挥棒"。在指标主义和测量主义交互作用下,以排名为代表的量化评估愈来愈"精确化",但大学发展的路却越走越窄,甚至有误入歧途的风险。作为对即将来临的后工业社会的积极应对,建设世界一流大学至关重要。在走向世界一流的过程中,大学需要避免评估主义陷阱。量化评估结果或许可以作为诊断大学发展问题的参考,但绝不应成为判断大学优劣的唯一标准。判断一所大学是否世界一流的标准应是其促进经济社会发展和人的发展的综合实力,而不是排行榜上的排名。As an important policy tool of university governance,evaluation has increasingly become the"baton"that affects the university development.However,the way of university development is becoming more and more narrow under the quantitative evaluation.As apositive response to the coming post-industrial society,it is very important to build worldclass universities.But in the process of building the world-class university,universities need to avoid the trap of evaluationism.The results of quantitative evaluation may be used as a reference to diagnose the problems existing in the university development,and should never be the only criterion.Whether a university is world-class or not should be judged by the comprehensive strength of promoting economic and social development and human development,rather than the ranking.
