知识经济视角下语言产业的内涵和外延

摘　　要：语言产业内涵与外延的界定是语言产业研究的前提。本文基于知识经济的定义,将语言产业定义为从事语言知识的生产、分配、使用和消费,或者以语言知识为主要服务内容满足他人语言消费需要的产业,将语言产业划分为语言工业和语言服务业,将语言服务业划分为语言服务产业和语言服务事业,同时将语言翻译、语言培训、语言出版、语言会展、语言康复、语言文字信息处理、语文能力测评、语言艺术和速录等确认为语言产业的业态,将语言创意划归广告业。认识到语言产业的知识经济属性具有重要的理论意义和实践意义,语言产业视角下的语言学研究要基于语言产业发展对语言知识的要求确定研究方向,发现研究问题;语言产业的发展,应该以满足不同语言产业和业态不同的语言知识消费需要为导向。The past decades have witnessed a rapid development of language industry in China.The delimitation of connotation and denotation of language industry is a prerequisite for language industry research.Based on the defi nition of knowledge economy,this study defi nes language industry as an industry engaged in the production,distribution,use and consumption of language knowledge,or the provision of language services to meet others’needs with language knowledge as its main service content.The language industry can be divided into secondary and tertiary industry/service industry,and the latter can be further divided into profi t-based language service industry and public language service industry.Language industry covers translation,language training,language publishing,language exhibition,language rehabilitation,language information processing,language testing and assessment,and language art,with language creativity assigned to the advertising industry.It is of great theoretical and practical signifi cance to understand the knowledge economy feature of the language industry.It is also necessary to fi nd new directions and questions based on the language knowledge needs of the development of language industry in order to conduct research from the perspective of language industry.In addition,the development of language industry should meet the needs of language knowledge consumption in diff erent areas of language industry.
