《家具材料》全英文一流课程建设的教学模式探索

摘　　要：全英文课程建设是拓展国际化办学领域的一个新举措,是提高本科生素质的一个重要方面。“家具材料”专业课程内容涉及面广,包括木材学、人造板、非木质材料等相关内容。“家具材料”全英文课程将上述内容中的共性问题进行提升凝练,为开始木家具制造工艺学、家具制造、家具设计等核心专业课程奠定理论基础,面向工业设计、家具设计与制造、室内设计及建筑工业产品设计等专业开设。采用全英文授课,对核心内容进行弹性设计和分解。介绍了“家具材料”全英文授课的必要性、前瞻性以及课程特点、发展情况和可能存在的问题和不足。The construction of all‑English courses is a new measure to expand the field of international schooling and an important aspect to improve the quality of undergraduates.The course content of“furniture Materials”covers a wide range,including wood science,wood‑based panel,non‑wood materials and other related contents.“Furniture Materials”is a full English course,which improves the common problems in the above contents and lays a theoretical foundation for the core professional courses such as wood furniture manufacturing technology,furniture manufacturing and furniture design.It is open to majors such as industrial design,furniture design and manufacturing,interior design and architectural industrial product design.The course is taught in English,and the core content is designed and decomposed flexibly.This paper introduces the necessity,foresight,characteristics,development,possible problems and deficiencies of furniture materials taught in English.
