摘 要:本研究以375名高中英语教师为研究对象,通过定量与定性研究相结合的方法,探讨了高中英语教师的专业素质现状及高中新手英语教师和熟手英语教师在专业素质上的差异。研究结果表明,英语教师的专业素质由教师的学习和发展观、学科教学观和英语学科教学能力三个维度构成,且水平较高。独立样本T检验结果表明,高中新手英语教师和高中熟手英语教师在学习和发展、学科教学观和学科教学能力三个方面均有显著差异。文末,笔者对提升新手英语教师专业素质提出了相应建议。By means of the the combination of both qualitative and quantitative research methods,the current research explored the structures of the professional qualities of 375 senior high school English teachers and examined the differences of these qualities between experienced and novice English teachers.The results of descriptive analysis indicate that teacher professional quality consists of teacher’s beliefs of their learning and professional development,English teaching beliefs and English pedagogical content knowledge.The results of the independent samples T-test show that there are significant differences in the three dimensions of the teacher’s professional quality between experienced and novice teachers.In the end,this study offers some suggestions to promote the development of the novice English teacher’s professional quality.
