摘　　要：在经典形成的外部因素中,批评家占据了重要位置。当代人应该理直气壮地呼唤和确认当代经典;在此过程中,批评家应该承担发现经典和命名经典的责任。胡良桂的新著《当代中国作家经典作品论》证明了当代批评家参与当代文学经典化的可能性和必要性,也证明了优秀批评家存在的独特价值。In the external factors of the formation of classics,critics have played an important role.At present,people should call for and create the contemporary classics,whereas the critics should shoulder the responsiblilty for discovering and naming classics.Hu Lianggui's new work On the Classic Works of Contemporary Chinese Writers has proved the possibility and necessity of contemporary critics'participation in the canonization and has recognized the unique value of excellent critics.
