摘　　要：高职院校公共英语教学在思考如何对接未来就业岗位对学习者外语语言运用能力要求的过程中,必须重视培养学习者英语语感能力。从认知语言学的角度出发,以意象图式理论为基础,辅之以相关实证调查,探讨现行高职院校公共英语教学如何帮助学习者从词汇语义结构层面构建语义结构意象图式路径,从而发展自身英语语感能力。As for college English teaching in higher vocational colleges,more and more attention is attached to the importance of how the EFL learners’ language ability keeps pace with an on-going foreign language competence required by their future career. Therefore,it is crucial for the students to develop their English language sense.This paper,on a basis of image schema theory and a relevant empirical study,is exposed to make an analysis of how to build up the effective image schema for the lexical meaning construction,trying to throw some light on the further study of the cultivation of the learners’ English language sense.
