摘  要:The surgery of paraventricular cavernoma remains a challenge for the neurosurgeon.Few approaches have been specially described for paraventricular cavernoma in literature.We present a patient with a symptomatic paraventricular cavernoma in the dorsal portion of the right lateral ventricles roof causing ventricular hemorrhage,and review his surgical approaches.This patient underwent a navigationassisted transcortical transventricular approach resulting in a complete resection without any neurologic deficits.The approach allows a safe and effective resection of paraventricular cavernomas.
