格式塔意象的语篇连贯建构

摘　　要：认知语言学中的格式塔意象具有语篇连贯的功能。运用格式塔意象解析《德伯家的苔丝》中六篇语篇发现,无论是映射现实世界的格式塔意象,还是映射虚拟世界的格式塔意象,都通过以下方式构建语篇的连贯:语篇中的主题句整合出一个基本的事件域模型,其余各句蕴含的多个下义层级格式塔意象从不同方面聚焦、凸显基本事件域模型的具体特征和属性,三个层级范畴的格式塔意象有机动态地整合成一个完整的事件域模型。信息在心智上达到连贯统一,语篇从整体上达到连贯。格式塔意象通过这种方式构建语篇,反映了人们构建语篇时复杂的心智运算。Gestalt imagery in Cognitive Linguistics possesses textual coherent function.Applying gestalt imagery in Cognitive Linguistics to construing the six texts selected from Tess of the D′urbervilles,it can be found that,whether Gestalt imagery mapping real world or virtual world,they construct textual coherence with following methods:the three levels of category Gestalt imagery contained in the theme sentence(s)integrate a basic EVENT to lead the whole text,other subordinate Gestalt imagery contained in the following sentences highlight specific characteristics of the basic EVENT from different perspectives.The three levels of category Gestalt imagery integrate a EVENT-domain Model.The message achieves mental coherence and the text achieve coherence.It reflects human′s complex mental operation by using Gestalt imagery constructing a text in this way.
