二语写作句法动态发展变异特征研究

摘　　要：本文基于动态系统理论及可视化数据分析技术,追踪研究了两位初始水平相当的非英语专业大学生在两个学年内产出的议论文,考察个体内不同句法指标动态发展变异特征和个体间的差异性。研究结果显示:两位学习者基于T单位的句法指标——平均长度(MLT)、从属子句数量(DC/T)、复杂名词性短语数量(CN/T)整体呈上升趋势,具有非线性及变异性发展特征;学习者个体内3个句法指标变异度和变化点存在非同步性,个体间句法指标的发展模式及变异特征同中有异;呈显著性变异和分段显著发展的句法指标均有质的提高。研究结果验证了变异性能够有效促进二语写作发展。Based on the Dynamic System Theory and the visual data analysis techniques,this paper examines the argumentative writings by two non-English majors of the same English proficiency at the outset within two academic years,and investigates the intra-individual variability and inter-individual differences in the development of various syntactic indicators.The results show that MLT,DC/T,CN/T in second language writing present the overall upwar-d trend with characteristics of nonlinearity and variability;the intra-individual variability in both degree and change-point displays asynchrony across three syntactic indicators,and both similarities and differences exist in the developmental mode and variability features between individuals;the syntactic indicators with significant variability and with phased development show qualitative improvement.These results verify the variability of syntactic dynamic development which could effectively promote the development of second language writing.
