摘  要:20世纪30年代,李廉方主持开封城厢小学及民众教育实验区,除小学教育外,民众教育也是实验的重要内容。实验区由河南省教育厅直接领导,实验事业悉划归社会教育,李廉方始终参与其中,起了核心作用。实验区从设计到实践体现了李廉方的“国家改造须以小学与民众教育实验为基”“小学兼及民众教育”“期收相互之功用”等教育思想,在小学学制、课程、教材等方面皆作了较大改革,实验性质上更接近于民众教育。此外,实验区还组织开展了相国寺民众娱乐调查、相国寺民众读物调查,这些都反映了李廉方对民众教育事业的重视和关心。In the 1930s,the Kaifeng City Elementary School and the Popular Education Experimental Area were hosted by Li Lianfang.In addition to the elementary education experiment,popular education was also an important part of the experiment.The experimental area was directly led by the Henan Provincial Department of Education,and all undertakings were included in the scope of social education.Li Lianfang participated in it all the way and played a central role.The designs and practices of the experimental area reflected Li Lianfang’s educational ideas that national transformation must be based on the elementary school and popular education experiments,while primary education and popular education must be considered together,thus to generate synergies.The experimental area had made major reforms in the elementary school system,curriculum,and teaching materials,so that the experiment looked more like the popular education.In addition,the experimental area also organized a survey of Xiangguo Temple’s public entertainment and public reading materials,which also reflected Li Lianfang’s attention and concern for the public’s education.
