摘　　要：吴元训先生是陕西师范大学教育学院已故教授,是一位一生从教、为国育才的教育史学家。他在引进、翻译外国教育名著和资料,探索、研究国外中世纪教育史,深入研究杜威等国外著名教育家,把国外教育经验运用于中国教育实践,对国内优秀传统文化和道德教育问题进行探讨等方面所作出的教育学术贡献值得学习和纪念。Wu Yuanxun is a late professor of School of Education in Shaanxi Normal University.He is an educational historian who has been teaching all his life and educating talents for the country.The educational and academic contributions made by him,such as introducing and translating foreign educational masterpieces and materials,exploring and researching the history of foreign medieval education,studying famous foreign educators such as Dewey,applying foreign educational experience to Chinese educational practice,and discussing domestic outstanding traditional culture and moral education,are worth learning and commemorating.
