关于在我国中西部地区首先开展多样化的第二语言教育的建议

摘  要:本文以语言习得研究成果为基础,结合我国中西部地区语言教育的发展现状,针对我国中西部地区当前的语言问题,建议在我国中西部地区,缩减英语教育的规模,增加作为第二语言的民族语言以及周边国家语言的教学,增加普通教育和高考语言的语种,培养国家急需和特需的外语人才和民族语言人才.Based on the research results on language acquisition,this study analyzes the problems exist-ing in language education in central and western China.The problems are low-efficiency and ineffective Eng-lish learnings in bilingual and trilingual educations.Accordingly,it suggests to downscale the teaching of English in general education and to upscale the education of minority languages and the languages spoken in the neighboring countries of China.It also suggests to increase the number of languages taught in schools and to include more of them as subjects in the National College Entrance Examination in order to foster language talents who meet the urgent needs of current development.
