摘 要:西方世界对墨学的研究是从十九世纪西方传教士对《墨子》文献的翻译及介绍开始的,之后逐渐深入到对《墨子》文本及义理的探讨,二十世纪欧洲的李约瑟与葛瑞汉的墨学研究较有代表性。我们通过数据分析发现:西方学界的墨学研究虽从数量上相比于儒家研究少得多,但也看出其逐年上涨的趋势;从内容上看,墨学研究角度愈来愈广,涉及到政治,逻辑,语言,道德等,可见西方学界对墨学研究的重视程度虽不及儒家研究,但西方世界学者们对墨学的研究兴趣始终处于一个上升态势。The study of the Mohist in the western world began with the translation and introduction of the literature of Mozi by missionaries in the 19th century,and then gradually went deep into the discussion of the text and rationale of Mozi.The Mohist studies by Needham and Graham in Europe are the leading examples.Through data analysis,we find that although the number of Mohist studies in western academic circles is much smaller than that of Confucian studies,it also shows a rising trend year by year;from the content point of view,Mohist studies are more and more extensive,involving politics,logic,language,morality,etc.,which shows that although the western academic circles pay less attention to Mohist studies than Confucian studies,their interest of Mohist studying is always on the rise.
