关联理论视域下话语标记语well的语用研究——以《去布法罗——一个悲剧幻想》为例

摘　　要：基于关联理论视角,从认知-语用角度分析戏剧《去布法罗——一个悲剧幻想》中话语标记语“well”的语用功能。借助语料分析工具WordSmith 7.0,采用定量分析的方法,探究其在不同情况下的六种语用功能,即充当思考延缓标记语、信息短缺标记语、信息修正标记语、连贯标记语、缓和标记语和话轮转换标记语。将话语标记语“well”纳入微观研究,并结合关联理论对剧本实际内容加以分析,有助于进一步揭示自然语言交际的动态性。Based on Relevance Theory,this paper aims to analyze the discourse marker“well”in Goin’a Buffalo—A Tragifantasy from a Cognitive-Pragmatic perspective.With the help of corpus analysis tool WordSmith 7.0,this study adopts quantitative methods to explore its six pragmatic functions under different situations.Specifically,it serves the role of thinking delay markers,information shortage markers,information correction markers,coherence markers,moderating markers and turn-taking markers.It contributes to revealing the dynamic nature of natural language communication by incorporating discourse marker“well”into microcosmic research and analyzing it in specific contents of the drama under Relevance Theory.
