董仲舒思想对中华民族精神的影响

摘  要:西汉大儒董仲舒提出“罢黜百家,独尊儒术”,综合先秦诸子百家之学,继承和发展先秦儒学,创立汉初新儒学,实现了儒学的第一次综合创新,并使儒学成为中国古代社会居于国家意识形态主导地位的思想,同时也开启了宋明新儒学之先河,对儒学精神和中华民族精神的形成和发展起了承上启下的作用。其中,董仲舒“大一统”思想、重义轻利思想及德治教化思想等,对中华民族精神的形成和发展发挥着独特而多面的影响,其精华或合理性的因素对涵养中华民族精神发挥着积极的影响,其糟粕或神学化、制度化的因素则戕害了人的独立人格,对中华民族精神健康发展起着消极的影响。Dong Zhongshu,a great Confucianist in the Western Han Dynasty,put forward the idea of“dismissing all schools of thought to barely respect Confucianism”.Integrating and developing all schools of thought in pre-Qin Confucianism,he founded the Neo-Confucianism in the early Han Dynasty,which,for the first time,achieved the comprehensive innovation of Confucianism and made it the dominant ideology in ancient Chinese society as well.Meanwhile,it opened the precedent of the New Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties,and played a linking role in the formation and development of Confucianism spirit and Chinese national spirit.Among his thoughts,the“great unity”,“stressing righteousness while neglecting profit”and“being governed by virtue”have exerted a unique and multifaceted influence on the formation and development of Chinese national spirit.The essence or rationality of his thought plays a positive role in conserving the spirit of the Chinese nation,while the dross or theological and institutionalized factors do harm to people’s independent personality,distorts the national character,and exerts a negative impact on the healthy development of China.
