摘　　要：在外部社会环境动荡、内部教育建制流变的情势下,北京女子高等师范学校依然培育出众多女性精英,她们不仅在各自的专业领域成果卓著,而且对20世纪上半期的女性解放和社会发展起到了积极的推进作用。追究原因,其成功经验可以概括为:其一,网罗众家、大师云集。通过国文科(部)主任陈中凡的热心延揽,为女高师打造了一支大师云集的师资队伍,汇聚了新文化运动时期新旧各派的一流学者。其二,思想自由、兼收并蓄。女高师教师在学术思想、政见党派、教育经历,以及知识结构和治学取向等方面的差异和分歧,营造了一种思想自由、多家争鸣的学术氛围。其三,修我甲兵、与子偕行。各派学者对中国社会和学术发展的深沉关切、对女性解放和女性教育的特别关注,使表面的流变和分歧凝聚为一种积极的精神力量。In the external turbulent social environment and the internal changing educational system, Beijing Women’s Higher Normal College(BWHNC) still cultivated a large number of female elites, who not only made outstanding achievements in their specific fields of learning but also played a positive role in promoting women’s liberation and social development in the first half of the 20 th century. The experience of such successes can be summarized as follows. First, gathering a large number of outstanding faculty members. Through the enthusiastic recruitment of Chen Zhongfan, dean of the Chinese department, a high-quality teaching faculty was formed in BWHNC, including the first-rate scholars of both the old and new schools during the New Culture Movement period. Second, free thinking and being inclusive. Although the faculty had differences and disputes in academic thoughts, political views and parties, educational experiences, knowledge structure and orientation of study, an atmosphere of free debates was created and a culture of contention among diversified schools was fostered. Third, getting fully prepared and marching forward together. The deep concern for the development of the society and academia of scholars of various schools as well as their special attention to women’s liberation and education condensed the superficial changes and differences into a positive spiritual force.
