跨文化视角下的英汉数字词隐喻义比较

摘　　要：多元文化发展背景下,数字词体现出的文化涵义迥异。采用对比分析方法,从跨文化角度,选取英汉语言中最基本的数字词“零”“一”“二”“三”等进行比较,厘清了这些数字词语隐喻义异同点及其文化内涵,并分析了产生差异的成因,如中西方文化在宗教文化特质、神话传说、民族心理、语言特征等方面,进而为克服跨文化交际环境下的语言障碍,顺利开展交际活动提供了一定的理论参考。Under different cultural background,number words embody different cultural meanings.This paper adopts the method of comparative analysis from a cross-cultural perspective.The paper selects the most basic digital words,such as“Zero”“One”“Two”“Three”and so on in English and Chinese for comparison,,clarifies the similarities and differences in the metaphorical meanings and cultural connotations of these words,analyzes the causes of differences,such as Chinese and western culture in religious culture trait,myths,legends,national psychology and the different way of thinking and hopes to provide some theoretical reference for overcoming the language barrier under the cross-cultural communication environment and the smooth development of cross-cultural communication.
