期待规范视角下的翻译策略研究--以《哈利·波特与密室》为例

摘　　要：以翻译期待规范为出发点,选取马爱新的译作《哈利•波特与密室》作为研究对象,从切斯特曼提出的句法或语法、语义以及语用三个方面分析译者所采取的翻译策略。研究认为期待规范对翻译策略的选择有很大的影响,译者应高度重视目标读者在语法、风格、可读性、可接受性等方面的要求,遵从翻译中的读者期待规范,采用借译、转换,同义词、近义词以及改变清晰度、信息量等方式,提升译文的读者认可度。Based on the expectation criterion of translation,this paper studies the strategies used in Ma Xin’ai’s new translation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets from aspects of syntax,or grammar,semantics and pragmatics proposed by Chesterman.It is found that expectation norms influence so greatly the choice of translation strategies that,to improve readers’acceptance,translators should attach great importance to the target readers’needs in grammar,style,readability and acceptability,and adopt translation strategies in accordance with the expectation norms of readers,like borrowing and transforming,adopting synonyms,and changing clarity and information volume.
