摘　　要：作为语用身份的三种类型之一,他者身份尽管时常发挥重要作用,但鲜有学者对其进行细化研究。本文基于语用身份论,以《红楼梦》中的语料为例,探析在该文学语境中的他者身份调用情况,涉及其实质、动因和路径。研究显示,他者身份调用有时是发话人把他者身份当作交际资源的一种刻意行为;发话人调用他者身份的动因往往是维持语用平衡,以满足行事、面子和权势等需求;发话人常会通过身份借用、冒用或擅用等路径调用他者身份。As one of the three types of pragmatic identity, other-identity, which may frequently prove to be of great importance, has received little detailed exploration. Based on Pragmatic Identity Theory and exemplified with examples from A Dream of Red Mansions, the paper tries to elaborate on the nature, motivations and paths of other-identity mobilization in the literary contexts. The study shows that other-identity mobilization is sometimes a kind of deliberate pragmatic practice that exploits the other-party identity as a pragmatic resource;its underlying motivation is to maintain pragmatic balance so as to satisfy transactional needs, face needs and power needs;and the addressers usually mobilize other-identity into certain communicative contexts by means of identity borrowing, impersonating or appropriating.
