摘　　要：中国共产党人始终把语言文字事业看成国家和民族文化建设的重要方面。自五四运动起,以中国共产党人为代表的先进知识分子就以新文化运动引领了思想革命。延安时期,中国共产党领导开展了拉丁化新文字运动。新中国成立后,确立了文字改革的三大任务:整理和简化汉字、推广普通话、制定和推行《汉语拼音方案》,并开展现代汉语规范化运动。改革开放以后,全面深入推进语言文字的规范化、标准化、信息化和法制化建设。进入新世纪,着力构建国家语言和文化发展。通过回顾中国共产党成立一百年来关于语言文字工作的思想、政策和实践,展现中国共产党领导语言文字事业的历史进程和伟大成就,总结中国共产党领导的语言文字事业的根本特点和深刻启示。Chinese Communists have always regarded issues concerning the spoken and written Chinese as significant aspects of national cultural construction. Since the May Fourth Movement,advanced intellectuals represented by Chinese Communists have led generations of ideological reforms and revolutions on the Chinese language such as the New Culture Movement and the Movement of Latinized New Characters in Yan’an. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,three major tasks have been propounded on the reformation and standardization of Chinese characters i.e. the arrangement and simplification of characters,the popularization of Putonghua,and the formulation and implementation of the Scheme of Chinese Phonetic Alphabet. Since the initiation of the Reform and Opening up policy, the standardization, informationization and institutionalization of the Chinese language have been comprehensively and profoundly promoted. The policy building concerning Chinese national language and cultural development has been further facilitated in the 21st century. By reviewing the thoughts,policies and practices of the CPC on spoken and written Chinese over the past 100 years,this paper presents the historical process and great achievements of the CPC on the reformation of Chinese language,and highlights the nature and inspiration regarding the leadership of the CPC in the language cause.
