摘　　要：科技交流中英语变体普遍存在,本文结合目前科技领域对外交流日趋多元化的现状与英语变体语言特征和使用者习惯及能力的差异,提出英语口译员应在科技交流活动中充分考虑英语变体及其使用者的特点,对其采取包容的态度、建立多元化的能力、运用适应性的口译策略和技巧,提高交流的效率,促进双方理解。English varieties are common in technological exchanges.This paper proposes that English interpreters should take into consideration the characteristics of English varieties and the language speakers in the international exchanges of science and technology,and meanwhile they should act with a particularly tolerant attitude,make themselves pluralistically capable,and use adaptive interpreting strategies and skills to achieve higher efficiency of communication and better mutual understanding.
