框架视角下隐喻性科技语言翻译研究

摘　　要：隐喻翻译研究现正迎来认知转向的热潮,学者们开始探讨如何应用框架理论翻译隐喻,然而,当前框架视角下隐喻翻译的研究不够深入,未能结合隐喻的生成机制提出更恰当的翻译策略,也鲜有学者从框架视角研究隐喻性科技语言的翻译。本文拟进行框架和隐喻的交叉研究,结合隐喻性科技语言的典型翻译例子,指出翻译隐喻性科技语言的关键,或是匹配恰当的目的语语言符号、激活隐喻源域内的突显框架、在目的语文本中构建与源语文本中所构建的对等隐喻映射网络,或在目的语文本中明示源语文本目标域内隐喻映射整合生成的框架内容和结构、建立隐喻寓意的跨语域相似性。本研究旨在为隐喻性科技语言翻译研究提供新视角。The study on metaphor translation is now facing the upsurge of cognitive transformation.Scholars have begun to explore how to apply the Frame Theory to translating metaphor.However,the current research on metaphor translation from the perspective of Frame Theory is not in depth since a more appropriate translation strategy based on the generation mechanism of metaphor still fails to be put forward.Few scholars have carried out any research on the translation of metaphorical scientific and technological language from the perspective of Frame Theory.This paper herein intends to do the interdisciplinary research on frame and metaphor.Based on some typical translation examples of metaphorical scientific and technological language,it proposes that the crucial points of translating metaphorical scientific and technological language are either to match the proper linguistic signs of target language,to activate the salient framework in the source domain of metaphor,and to construct the equivalent metaphor mapping network between the target language text and the source language text.Moreover,in the target language text,the framework content and structure generated by the integration of metaphor mapping in the target domain of the source language text should be illustrated,and the cross-register similarity of metaphorical meaning be established.Accordingly,this study aims to provide a new perspective for the translation of metaphorical scientific and technological language.
