译者行为批评视域下的《淮南子》英译探析——以翟江月、牟爱鹏英译本为例

摘　　要：从译者行为批评视阈,对国内学者翟江月、牟爱鹏合译的《淮南子》英文全译本进行研究,结合具体实例分析其中语言层面的求真型翻译、社会层面的务实型翻译、求真与务实兼顾而相结合的翻译,剖析译者行为背后的深层次原因,同时结合原文求真度、效果务实度来分析译者行为的合理度,以期为其它典籍的翻译提供借鉴和参考。This paper is aimed to study the Chinese-English translation of Huainanzi by Zhai Jiang-yue and Mou Ai-peng from the perspective of Translator Behavior Criticism.Through specific cases,the underlying reasons have been explored to find out the reasons accounting for the truth-seeking oriented translation and utility-attaining oriented translation to evaluate the rationality degree of translator behavior.The findings in this paper will provide valuable experiences and references for relative translation in the future.
