摘　　要：华侨教育协会作为中国近代具有较大影响力的华侨教育团体之一,以发展华侨教育为根本宗旨,建立起较为完整的组织结构,规范的董事、干事及会员产生程序,并制定有关会务运作及机构设置的规章制度。作为海外侨胞的代言人与服务者,协会在发展华侨教育、推动侨界联谊、筹建服务机构、维护侨胞权益等方面积极作为,造福海外侨胞和归国侨生。华侨教育协会作为华侨教育史上发挥过积极作用的教育社团,也是中国社会各界推动华侨教育发展的重要探索。Overseas Chinese Education Association(OCEA)is one of the most influential overseas Chinese education organizations in modern China.With the development of overseas Chinese education as its fundamental purpose,OCEA has established a relatively complete organizational structure,standardized procedures for the formation of directors,officers and members,and formulated rules and regulations on the operation of internal affairs and the establishment of institutions.As a spokesperson and service provider for overseas Chinese,OCEA has been active in developing overseas Chinese education,promoting friendship with overseas Chinese,establishing service institutions,safeguarding the rights and interests of overseas Chinese,and benefiting overseas Chinese and returned overseas Chinese.OCEA,as an educational association that had played an active role in the history of overseas Chinese education,was also an important exploration to promote the development of overseas Chinese education in China.
