摘 要:本研究综合利用眼动追踪、键盘记录和翻译产品数据,区分总体注意分配及投入原文阅读活动和译文产出活动的注意分配,就翻译方向和文本难度对学生译者英/汉翻译中注意分配的影响进行了多维度探查。研究发现,翻译方向对总体注意分配和投入译文产出活动的注意分配有显著影响。在译出方向,学生译者的总体注意分配和投入译文产出活动的注意分配均显著高于译入方向。翻译方向对投入原文阅读活动的注意分配没有显著影响。文本难度对总体注意分配没有显著影响,但文本难度对投入原文阅读活动的注意分配有显著影响。在文本难度较高水平条件下,学生译者投入原文阅读活动的注意分配显著高于文本难度较低水平。Based on a comprehensive use of translators’eye-tracking,keystroke logging and translation product data,this study carried out a finer-gained exploration on whether translational directionality and text complexity would affect student translators’attention allocation in English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation.Translators’attention allocation was investigated by differentiating the overall attention allocation to the translation task as a whole from the attention allocated to different cognitive processes,i.e.source text reading and target text production.We found that directionality had a statistically significant effect on the overall attention allocationto the translation task as a whole and the attention allocated to target text production.In L2 translation student translators allocated significantly more attention to the translation task as a whole as well as on target text production than in L1 translation.The study did not find any statistically significant effect of directionality on the attention allocated to source text reading,nor any statistically significant effect of text complexity on the overall attention allocated to the translation task as a whole.Nevertheless,text complexity had a statistically significant effect on the attention allocated to source text reading.Under the condition of a higher level of text complexity,student translators allocated significantly more attention to source text reading than under the condition of a lower level of text complexity.
