地图中地名罗马字母拼写方法探究

摘　　要：针对英文版地图中国地名罗马字母拼写法标准不统一与不规范的现状,本文探讨了出现问题的根源,根据国内与国际相关法律法规,指出了中国境内已被淘汰的威妥玛拼音法与不符合法规要求的拼写法及英文意译等乱象,点明了地图编制工作中汉语拼音拼写的易错点,明确了现行地名专名与通名罗马字母拼写均采用汉语拼音拼写法,确定了其拼写所依据的标准,使人们对用罗马字体拼写中国地名情况有一个比较全面的认识,能够为从事地图制图与审核工作相关人员提供有益参考,也能为地名管理与翻译工作提供有益借鉴。In view of the current situation that the standard of Roman alphabet spelling of Chinese place names in English maps is not unified and standardized,this paper discusses the causes of the problems in simple terms,and points out the confusion of Wetoma spelling which has been eliminated in China,spelling which does not meet the requirements of laws and regulations,and English free translation according to the relevant domestic and international laws and regulations,and points out the differences between Chinese and English free translation in map compilation It is easy to make mistakes in the spelling of Pinyin.It is clear that both the proper name and the general name are spelled with Chinese Pinyin,and the standard of spelling is determined,so that people can have a more comprehensive understanding of the Romanization of Chinese place names.It can provide a useful reference for those who are engaged in cartography and auditing,as well as for the management and translation of place names Learn from.
