摘 要:采用问卷调查和访谈工具,比较医学生和医务人员英语学习需求,以及对当前大学英语教学的意见。研究发现,无论是医学生还是医务人员,其在英语基本技能上的需求程度由高到低依次为阅读、写作、口语、听力。两组人员在医学英语和通用英语方面的需求都很高,但相对而言,医务人员在医学英语方面的需求高于其通用英语方面的需求,也高于医学生在医学英语方面的需求;医学生在通用英语方面的需求高于其医学英语方面的需求,也高于医务人员在通用英语方面的需求。英语水平越高的学习者在英语各项技能上的需求越大。学习者普遍希望在教师的引导下进行学习,但在医学英语课程设置上分歧较大,提示在实际教学中应展开分级教学,以满足不同学习者的需要。To investigate needs of English learning,a survey involving questionnaire and interview into medical students and medical staff was carried out.It was discovered that basic English skill needs of both groups manifested needs listed from high to low are reading,writing,speaking and listening.Both general English and medical English needs are high in the two groups.Medical English needs of medical staff are higher than their general English needs,as well as medical English needs of medical students.While general English needs of medical students are higher than their medical English needs,as well as general English needs of medical staff.Participants'with higher English language proficiency have higher demands in all English language skills.Learners prefer to study under teacher's guidance,but their opinions varied greatly,which may indicate that graded teaching should be exercised to satisfy English learning needs of different learners.
